With 42 new cases Nagaland's COVID-19 count crosses 500 mark

With the state reporting 42 new positive cases, Nagaland's COVID-19 tally crossed 500 mark on July 1.


The new cases were reported from quarantine centres in Peren, Phek, Kohima and Dimapur taking the total tally to 501. 


However, the state also reported 14 recoveries on Wednesday from Dimapur district - 10 from Assam Riflles Hospital, Sukhovi, Dimapur and 4 from Dimapur COVID-19 Hospital.


With this, the total number of cases stood at 501 at 3:20 PM on July 1 with 319 as active and 182 offically designated as recovered cases.
